Property surveys are often required at the time of purchase and Freeman Consultancy recognises the need to respond quickly and efficiently, sometimes, the same day. We offer a range of technical building surveys to cover an individual's requirements, and written in easy to understand terms and at competitive fee scales.

Suitable for a wide range of commercial property including industrial buildings, shops and offices. The survey can be tailored
to a clients specific needs and can be prepared as a Schedule of Condition if the premises are to be acquired on a leasehold basis.

This report is designed to give an opinion as to the general condition of the main components of a property. Comments are made on the condition of the main fabric including roof, walls, floors and wall and ceiling surfaces. The purpose of the survey is to report on evidence of a major defect which may result in costly repairs and to give guidance on how to proceed if such defects are apparent. Roof void and cellars are examined together with checks on dampness and structural integrity.

The Detailed Buildings Survey is a very comprehensive examination of the property and covers all aspects of its construction. Advice is given on its present condition, costs incurred in its renovation, immediate repair and longer term maintenance liabilities.The Report is substantial but written in easily understandable terms, with separate chapters on each room, roof space, elevations and external features. All parts of the structure are examined, as far as practically possible, and the report gives a detailed appraisal of the property to be purchased. The report will be illustrated by photographs.A valuation for insurance purposes is included. Optional extras may be included with this report, these include environmental search, geological assessment and video presentation. These are unique to this survey. We will also comment upon future plans for alterations and extensions and any specific matters brought to our attention by the purchaser.
